Award Details

Today’s young people have good reason to be the most anxious generation on record: they face some of the greatest ever challenges to humanity. They have the greatest stake in decisions which affect their future yet most of them can’t vote and have little power. They are taking a stronger stand in expressing their views which is reflected in school students’ climate strikes. They deserve a voice.

This proposal sets out a way for them to get one.

To select one young person every year who will be The Voice of Youth for that year.

To reward that person with a four part prize package designed to establish their future career;

  • Material: Cash, travel, expenses.
  • Support: office, phone, secretarial, mentoring.
